Hi Arno, I'm not sure about the cost model for cloud functions, for this example cloud function can do well, but I've mentioned Cloud Run because it's more flexible for developers since it's container based, my preferences would be to use containers on GKE or Cloud Run so I can choose the programming language and the runtime version that fit my needs
